As a Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club Wedding Photographer, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing many beautiful weddings, but Lauren and Rich’s day on 14th September 2025 was truly one to remember. Every detail, from the elegant morning preparations to the emotional ceremony and celebrations, came together perfectly despite a few rain showers along the way.
Morning Preparations at Hanbury Manor
The day began at Hanbury Manor Golf and Country Club, where Lauren got ready with her bridesmaids and her mum. Hanbury Manor is such a stunning venue in its own right and it provided a gorgeous backdrop for those intimate pre-wedding moments. The atmosphere was full of excitement, love and I was able to capture some truly beautiful photographs of Lauren and her bridal party. They shared laughter, a few happy tears and those final touches before heading off to the ceremony.
Arriving at The Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club
Lauren and Rich’s ceremony took place at the magnificent Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club — a venue that never fails to impress. She arrived in style in a classic Rolls Royce Phantom, and even though the weather was slightly wet and overcast, it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits. Lauren stepped out of the car looking absolutely radiant, her smile lighting up the day.
The civil ceremony was held in one of the club’s elegant rooms, surrounded by their closest family and friends. It was an intimate, heartfelt service — the perfect reflection of who they are as a couple.
Confetti, Cuddles and Rain Showers
After the ceremony, the rain paused just long enough for us to head outside and capture some confetti shots and family photos at the front of the Mansion. The timing couldn’t have been better! When the rain returned, Lauren and Rich took it all in their stride — we made the most of the beautiful sheltered entrance at the Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club. Using this area I created some amazing, natural portraits that really show off their personalities and connection. Sometimes those little weather challenges make for the best photos, and this was definitely one of those days!
The Dream Team
It was an absolute pleasure to work alongside my fellow Dream Team member, Anthony from Spotlight Weddings, who filmed the day beautifully. The wonderful wedding planner Pinky Jo who ensured everything ran smoothly and the whole team of suppliers. We all worked seamlessly together to make the day unforgettable for Lauren and Rich.
Final Thoughts
Lauren and Rich’s wedding at The Hertfordshire Golf and Country Club was a perfect example of love shining through no matter the weather. The photographs from the day are full of joy, laughter and those little moments that make weddings so special.
