Mulberry House is a unique wedding venue in the heart of Essex. Built in the 1760s the grade 11 listed country house is brimming with charm. Not you’re typical stately home, this has been preserved beautifully and contemporary elements have been added to bring the property into the 21st century. Mulberry House is a fantastic venue to enjoy a traditional wedding with a twist. These interesting features make for contemporary and creative wedding photography.
Set in 22 acres of beautiful grounds and with 23 en-suite bedrooms, it really does take some beating. The mansion overlooks the beautiful lake and newly refurbished bridge. Mulberry House is an incredibly idyllic setting and looks amazing in the daytime and at night too. An expanse of Essex countryside surrounds the property making it a perfect all season wedding venue. The interior of the building also does not disappoint, huge windows flood the rooms with natural light enhancing wedding photography further. Stylish and chic, Mulberry House looks wonderful in wedding photographs. Perhaps the grandest part of the property is the front of the house, this is an area that I personally love to use in my shots. Available to couples for their reception is the marquee at Mulberry House if you want the ‘wow’ factor’ then you’ve just found it. This space is a great choice if your planning your wedding breakfast and evening party. A huge bar sits at the edge of the marquee fully stocked with your favourite tipples.

Each wedding has exclusive use of the estate and the gardens – so no bumping into another bride! Manicured gardens and a beautiful lake and bridge provide the perfect backdrop for the couple shots.
