WEBSITES

The first step if you are looking to have a website built is to have a chat with me and talk about your company. I look at how you plan to market yourselves. Then once we have a idea of what you like. I will then build you a bespoke website from scratch.  It usually takes around two weeks to get a design for you to look at. Once you are happy with the design and are ready for us to publish it. You settle the design Invoice, you then pay the hosting fee and then we Publish everything. Once a website is published all the pages and Images are Indexed for google.

Every website needs to have.

  1. Domain Name
  2. Be Hosted (paid to the host company by the client prior to publishing (Usually £200-£300).
  3. Five Keyword searches relevant to your business. So for a window cleaning company in St albans you would use “St Albans Window Cleaning and Window Cleaner St Albans” .
  4. These keywords have to be built into the text on the pages relevant to the Page Name.
  5. Text Supplied to us. No copying other peoples text. Plagiarism is a no no.. Google will see it as spam and not rank you.
  6. Keep the text simple, don’t use long sentences or big words (it makes it harder to be indexed by Google.
  7. Price.  A nine page website usually costs around £1200 and then additional pages are £100 each. This has to be paid for prior to publishing.

If you’re looking for a  Hertfordshire based SEO company who can make a difference to your business, just pick up the phone for a chat. I have organically got my website and many others onto the top Google Pages by clever SEO tactics. This all started about 10 years ago and has really started to take off.

SEO

SEO driven traffic is free, but it takes time to get to the top. It also helps to generate respect and trust for your brand. 75% of users click on one of the first three naturally occurring search result. That means they may well scroll right past a paid advert and choose one of the SEO-optimised websites at the top of the results. In fact, over 90% don’t even bother to venture past page one of Google results.

Organic traffic is targeted but built on a foundation of relevant content you publish on your website. For example, many people search for answers to specific problems – and usually expect an immediate answer. Google responded to this by developing a ‘Q&A’ facility as part of its search results. You’ll have seen it in action.

Let’s assume, for example, you run a plumbing business, and someone asks: “How do I change a dripping tap?” If you have a relevant blog post, or web page, that answers the question, then a section of text would appear in Google’s results.

This represents a great opportunity to create appropriate content for your website. Your answer to the dripping tap question might contain information on how someone might fix it themselves, but ultimately conclude that the complexities of modern taps mean that it’s best to get professional help, with a call for action to contact you.
