Essendon Country Club Wedding. Hertfordshire The wedding took place in The Grand Barn at Essendon. One of my favourite wedding venues. Essendon Country Club in Hatfield is set in 400 acres of Hertfordshire countryside.

Essendon Country Club Wedding. Hertfordshire

What a fantastic day over at Essendon Country Club. Amanda and Matthew tied the knot in The Grand Barn at Essendon Country Club. The getting ready shots started with Amanda in the new wedding cottage. Matt arrived and got ready out on the terrace of the Grand Barn.

Its was good fun over in the wedding cottage all the bridesmaids came in for some fun shots in their pyjamas. Then it was time for Amanda to get in her dress and head over for the ceremony.

After the wedding ceremony the couple came out for their confetti shot. I had arranged the whole wedding to assemble into two lines and then Amanda and Matt walked through the middle to a huge cheer. They then had a drinks reception spending time with their guests before we started the group pictures. Then Fiona and the team at Essendon bought the golf buggy over and we headed out onto the Golf Course for the main bride and groom shoot. What I think gives me a great advantage as a Essendon Country Club wedding photographer is knowing the venue and its surroundings so well. When photographing a wedding I always know where to go to get the best views, light and angles.

For the main shoot I mainly used the fairways, lakes and bridges on the new course where the light was soft. The bulk of the photos were taken and it was time for the meal. Matts Dad Gary Hobbs (The Legend of Cheshunt Rugby Club) was master of ceremonies for the day and made all the announcements. After the meal and some great speeches, just before the light went we headed out for some more photos and fun shots. The light was dropping quickly, the free bar was open so most of the guests were pretty lively.

Amanda and Matt took to the dance floor for their first dance together. The party was on, this lot certainly knew how to have a good time, I connected with so many people. After lots of party shots I finished the photos with a picture of the couple on the golf course.
