Francesca and Taylors wedding at Tewin Bury Farm

I have known Francesca and Taylor for many years. We have trained at the same gym, been out on many occasions and are good friends. I photographed Taylor’s sister’s wedding a few years ago and know the family very well. So naturally when they chatted about getting married they booked in with me. I was really pleased as they are a lovely couple and Francesca and I have talked about the wedding in the gym for the last 8 months.
THE WEDDING DAY.
The day started with me arriving at Tewinbury Farm two hours before the ceremony. Francesca was getting ready in the room with her two sisters, mum and niece. The dress was hanging up, It was so Francesca; pure class. Her shoes were white Adidas trainers studded with diamantes … well she is a personal trainer!
Her friend Jo did her make up and her friend Michelle did her hair. Francesca looked stunning and was a real pleasure to photograph. Francesca then got into her bridal underwear and then got into her wedding dress. The registrar then came in and it was time for me to get set up for the outside ceremony. Richard gave Francesca away and walked her down the aisle. The ceremony was beautiful, a slight light sprinkle of rain came down but this soon passed and the sun came out. Bella the dog of honour was there all the way through.
After the ceremony Francesca and Taylor spent time with their guests before getting the family shots done. I then took them round into some beautiful parts of Tewin Bury Farm. I concentrated on the stable area and used the red brick and old wooden doors.
The stable was now set for the wedding breakfast and Taylor and Francesca went in to check it. The food was served and then followed the speeches, Richard, Will, Nick, Francesca then Taylor. Some great speeches and lots of laughter. After the speeches the room was prepared for the evenings entertainment and the bride and groom cut their wedding cake in front of all the guests. They then had their first dance together as husband and wife.
