Our award-winning wedding photography is based on capturing the story of the day, as it unfolds, not set up – when you look at the images that part of the day will be like your living it again. We love capturing natural photographs that are stylish and classy – I don’t take those awkward shots. John Paul is confident and blends in, but at the same time has the presence needed and can be vocal and organise people, always in a suit looking sharp. The reason I wear a suit is to blend into the background to capture those natural moments, but then step in to set up those constructed shots. All my bride and grooms get the chance beforehand to let me know what they do and don’t like, on the day the last thing you want to do is start telling the photographer what you want and who you need in. My photography style is classical-reportage, my images are natural and modern. Always sharply edited to make the shot stand out. Around four weeks before the wedding day we have a good chat and run through everything in detail, family, timings locations etc. John Paul is a skilled pro photographer with over 1000 weddings behind him and 27 years knowledge in the industry.

When you book your wedding the most important thing is knowing that you made the right choice with your photographer. Choosing the right photographer is so important and a decision that you could easily regret. Some photographers aren’t as active as others, some are very obtrusive, stepping in at the wrong moment or just shooting from the sidelines. My photography style is Reportage / Classical so every moment is captured as it happens, that first look when you see each other or when dad walks in and see you in the dress for the first time. “We capture the fun, the laughter..the day”.
Photographing a wedding Making couples and their friends and family feel comfortable is really important to us, and doing so ensures that we can capture the very best images. Often couples are nervous about being photographed, but my relaxed and unobtrusive approach ensures that everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera. I make sure that I spend time with you before the big day ironing out the do’s and dont’s. The day is over, you are back from your honeymoon and have chosen your images. The best way to see them is in a bespoke album. The albums we design and create tell the story of the day page by page from getting ready through to the party. Our luxury wedding albums from Graphistudio are included in all our packages except one. These albums are known as the Original Wedding Books as they were the first in this country and still the very best on the market. We also offer parent albums too and include them in some of our packages. If you want to thank your parents after for helping towards your big day then these make the perfect gifts as they are duplicates of your bespoke design.
A LUXURY EXPERIENCE
If you are getting married in snowy December theres no point you seeing a wedding i’ve shot in the August sunshine. I always have a contingency plan for every wedding I do all year round. I use external lighting to perfect the shot if necessary and if its wet I shoot inside. Lighting all in place and everything ready to go on the flick of a switch like a film set that you just walk into. Your pictures will be beautiful no matter what the conditions are Its what you deserve when you book me and its what I have spent half my life trying to deliver.
