What an amazing wedding that took place at Forty Hall in Enfield London. It was a magical day that started with Eddie getting ready with one of his best men over at Theobalds Estate in Cheshunt. I then headed over to see Julie at her house in Cheshunt where she was getting ready with her sister and little flower girls. It was very relaxed and lovely to meet everyone including Julie’s mum and dad.
Julie and Eddie are one of the most warm and genuine couples that I have ever worked with. There was no hiding the amount of love that was felt by all of their friends and families towards them both.
The ceremony was performed by Penny a close family friend of the brides and also Gemma who is Julie’s niece. The ceremony took place in The Coach House and was beautiful, intimate and a lovely atmosphere. There was a massive cheer when they kissed for the first time which literally lifted the roof off of the mid 16th century building.
Following the ceremony guests made their way out for drinks on the terrace. We did some photos at the front of the house with the wedding car and all the little flower girls. After all the pictures in the grounds and lots of shots with the friends and family we headed in.
The speeches took place before the meal and were filled with lots of laughter. Evening guests then arrived and it was time for the bride and groom to cut their wedding cake and have their first dance together.
Julie and Eddie, It was an absolute pleasure to photograph the big day, be there and tell the story. I look forward to seeing both for the viewing. JP
