Keryl and Daniel Ponsbourne Park

Keryl and Daniel’s Wedding at Ponsbourne Park Hotel Hertfordshire.

I first met Keryl and Daniel about a year ago whilst they were at a wedding show. We immediately got on and I remember thinking what a great couple they are.

I arrived at a Hotel in Harlow where Keryl was having her hair and make up done with the bridesmaids. Some of them had already left for the brides parents home where they were heading to get their dresses on. I know Julia (make up) and Georgina (hair dresser) very well and Keryl was looking amazing.

We did a few photos and then I left to get to the parents house to catch what was going on there then wait to Keryl to arrive.

Everyone was getting ready and then Keryl arrived. I spent a little bit of time then shot down to the Church to see Daniel and the rest of the boys. Daniel was really relaxed and was looking very sharp. When I got in to the Church the vicar immediately put me in a terrible position that I was meant to stay in but as soon as the ceremony started the position was no good – so I took the Nikon 70-200 mm lens out the bag, positioned myself in a pew seat with the rest of the guests and bettered my position to get the pictures that I needed to take and do my job to the best of my ability.

After the Ceremony we left and headed off to Ponsbourne Park for the reception. We saw Des the resident Toastmaster and he told me straight away that we only had 30 minutes to take all the photographs…. oh my god “first the Vicar now the Toastmaster” without hesitation and straight away I said to Des that this was not long enough and that we needed at least 45 minutes minimum and that we haven’t taken any pictures yet, I know Des and he arranged the extra time.

All the guests came out for the main pictures and we got the shots done and headed in for the meal and the speeches. The meal was amazing and the speeches were brilliant, 3 amazing and informative speeches.

Des performed a wonderful toast to the Bride and Groom using 2 glasses of wine it was as follows.

Ladies and Gentlemen we were treated to 3 amazing speeches and all thats left for me to do is the last toast which is to these two amazing people on the Top Table and I will use two Glasses of wine .. one Red and one White. This White wine is elegant, lovely and very good to look at and we will liken this wine to our Bride Keryl…. This one (RED) totally different, strong, full bodied, powerful and we can liken this to our groom Daniel. Now if I mix these two wines together (mixes them) theres no one here today that can seperate these wines and like these two people there absolutely in-seperable… thank you ladies and gentleman.

Everyone stood and Des got a very well received applause and then lead the couple out to The Garden room for drinks.

We went outside and shot some fun pictures. after this the evening guests started to arrive and we then went through for the first dance.

The day was brilliant, the bride and groom looked great all day and it really was a brilliant wedding. Well done to everyone and most importantly to Keryl and Daniel for such a fabulous day.
