Titled – Oceane and Richards civil wedding at Fanhams Hall Herts. Ceremony took place in The Hertford and Ware Room and the reception took place in the Pavillion.

The Big Day.
Oceane and Richard got married at the beautiful Fanhams Hall. The day itself started with me arriving to capture Richard and his brother Peter in a brand new Audi R8. Obviously being a car nut I took way too many pictures of it. They then went up to the room ordered some beers and started getting ready.
Oceane was also getting ready at Fanhams. She was with her bridesmaids upstairs having their hair and make up done. They really were lovely people to photograph and I pulled out my french dictionary from GCSE French back in the 90’s and tried to bridge the language barrier.
Richard and Peter had their suits made and looked very sharp indeed. Peter helped his brother into his jacket. The boys were now ready and went down to see the guests.
Oceane was now ready to get into her beautiful wedding dress so we went up into the bridal suite, cracked the champagne open and got some lovely pictures.
The ceremony took place in the The Hertford and Ware room. This room overlooks the grounds of Fanhams from pretty much 180 degrees. It is beautifully designed and the lighting is lovely for photos.
After the ceremony we all headed outside for the drinks reception. I then made use of the main gardens as there was a lovely opportunity using the sun behind them. I shot the main pictures with the couple and then headed up to photograph all the guests with the bride and groom in one big shot and went straight into the confetti shot.
We then went in for the meal and the speeches took place. Oceane and Richard had translated the french speech into English and vice versa and printed them out for guests to follow along, a very good idea.
After the speeches I took the couple off for an early evening shoot. The light was perfect and we got some lovey shots using the Japanese Gardens and treeline.
It was now time for their first dance. Everyone surrounded the dance floor and Oceane and Richard danced together as husband and wife.
