Wedding at West Lodge Park Hotel
This was a really beautiful wedding, I started in Hadley wood in a lovely victorian Cottage. The bridesmaids were all getting ready having their hair and make up done drinking champagne I saw Christina a bridesmaid whose wedding I photographed 3 years ago and then I saw Gemma the bride.. She was smiling away and really happy and relaxed, she looked amazing. I went up to see the dress with her, it was hanging up and the light just caught it right .. She walked over and had some pictures with it. When she got into it and her mum laced her up.. Her dad walked into the room ..he was taken back and couldn’t believe just how beautiful his little girl looked, he gave her s present and her face when she opened it made a beautiful picture. I then went onto West Lodge Park, Hadley Wood where the wedding ceremony and reception was taking place, I have worked at this beautiful hotel many times over the years and the sun was just in the right spot for when Ricky arrived in a brand new Bentley convertible, he was very relaxed and went into the bar for some Dutch courage with his groomsmen and close family. The ceremony was amazing.. In all the years I have been a pro photographer I have not seen many couples so much in love as these two .. They could not stop looking at each other and kissing.. It was so plain to see how much in love they are. The speeches and meal were fantastic just after we went out in the low evening sun to take some evening shots just before the first dance . The atmosphere was amazing and the couple danced beautifully. Everyone joined in and the party started. This was a wedding I will never forget. I am very lucky to be able to do what I do. My mum said to me once .. ” find a job you love and you will never work a day in your life”. She was so right.
Here are some of my favourite pictures that the couple picked for their Storybook that I designed for the couple.
