Weddings at Blake Hall
Amy and Matt had their wedding at the lovely Blake Hall in Essex and I am raring to share it with you. If you love Essex Wedding Venues then you are going to love this.
I have photographed at Blake Hall wedding venue many times in recent years and I was as excited as ever to return. Its a beautiful Barn venue set in the grounds of The Private Country House. There are plenty of photography opportunities especially this time of year. I took this opportunity to take a nice stroll later in afternoon with the couple and we got some amazing shots.
The day started with me arriving just before 11am and taking some pictures of Matt and the boys. They were getting ready in the main barn and opened their presents which were cufflinks. I then headed over to the cottage and saw Amy who was having her hair and make up done and I met all the bridesmaids. Everyone was very chilled and enjoying the morning. After lots of pictures and the girls absolutely nailing all the shots It was time for her dad John to see her in her dress. This was a beautiful moment and I did my job well and captured it.
I went over to the barn to get set up for the ceremony. The guests all then headed over and took their seats too. The Ceremony was intimate and beautifully conducted by The Essex Registration team!
Afterwards we headed out to all my favourite spots to capture their wedding portraits. There was mixture of classical and reportage taken in around 30 minutes. With the help of Amy’s mum Debbie who laid the dress out as we went. I used the main formal gardens up to the private areas and garden walls and gates. With Debbie being there it made things much smoother and quicker. Later on in the evening we headed out along the boundary edge capturing the golden hour shoot with the main picture being the two of them with their little baby Scarlett. We then headed back in for the first dance and party time.
It was a brilliant day, the people were fantastic and the venue second to none.
