Chloe and Lees Wedding At Fanhams Hall

I first met Chloe and Lee about two years ago when they were at a friend of theirs wedding, I was taking the photographs.  Chloe then came to a wedding show that I was exhibiting at looked at the packages and chose her Storybook and booked me.

THE WEDDING

When I arrived at Fanhams Hall, Chloe was getting ready in The Royston Room (a big room overlooking the main grounds of Fanhams).  The hair and make up was in the early stages and it was a busy room full of people getting ready, the champagne was open and Chloe’s auntie Sue was doing the make up. I took some pictures and then went down to see Lee (the groom) as he arrived.

Lee was with his close family, cousins, best man Tommy, dad.. and all the boys. He went into the bar and I took some pictures to record that part of the morning.  We went out into the Courtyard to continue the pictures and take some shots of all the boys walking to the camera etc. Once these shots were done I left them all to it and went back up to see Chloe and continue the pictures of this very important part of the day… this is the part when the dress goes on and the Girl getting ready becomes a Bride! and what a bride she made..in one word ( Stunning ) her dad came in and saw her for the first time in the dress – she was giving out presents to her bridesmaids and he couldn’t speak – for five minutes he was emotional and words just couldn’t come out. I did some pictures and left everyone to it so that I could head up to the long Gallery to set up for the Ceremony.

When I walked into The Long Gallery Lee and his best man Tommy were already there and the registrars were ready to start Margaret (a registrar who I have work with regularly) was about to conduct the wedding (fantastic and wonderful lady).  The Brides brother was on the Piano and played it for the entrance of the Bride … “what a beautiful moment”… a proud brother he is.

The Ceremony was great Lee was brilliant, there was fun and seriousness when there needed to be .. this was a brilliant and beautiful wedding ceremony.

Afterwards we went out into the grounds of this fantastic mansion and shot all the pictures we needed of the couple in all the various, beautiful and best parts of Fanhams Hall.  On the way back in I left the couple to take a slow walk back to their guests and I got all the group and family pictures ready and then took those shots as the couple joined everyone again. I then headed into the Great Hall for the wedding breakfast.  After the meal we had 4 fantastic speeches before heading out to the grounds again but this time it was for some fun, reportage and running shots ending with Lee and his cousins having a wager on who can get to the wall and back.. congratulations to one of Lees cousins (Haringey Running Club member ) he slaughtered them all by about 10 metres and took the cash.

We then went in and Chloe and Lee cut the fantastic cake that Chloe’s mum had made (amazing!).  Then they started the dancing off before everyone joined them and partied on a packed dancefloor all night.

Chloe and lee, it was a great wedding I enjoyed every minute of it and want to say good luck and thank you for choosing me to be your photographer.  Have a great honeymoon and I look forward to seeing you when you get back to the UK for the viewing of the Photographs.
