THE WEDDING DAY

The day started at South Farm Around 2.5 hours before the ceremony. Jack was with his best man setting out the room for the wedding breakfast. He was also putting the bunting up with the help of Jake, Paul and Jonathan.

Donna was getting ready in the bridal suite and her hair and make up was being done next door by the amazing Sam from Beautiful You. Donna’s make up looked absolutely stunning.

Jack had his suit made, everything about the man is quality.  Even down to the socks.  The very best quality and made to measure.

The outside wedding ceremony took place in the summer house on the lake. The light was beautiful,  the clouds being slightly overcast; perfect photography conditions.  The guests all took their seats and got ready for The Bridal party.. Donna then came down the aisle with her dad Paul and had a little cry, this soon stopped as soon as she saw her Jack.

The ceremony was short but intimate, with a beautiful moment taking place as they turned and looked at their guests. Everyone there was the very closest of friends and family.

After the ceremony the guests all went round to the front of the house and the confetti was thrown.

We took a quick shot of the whole wedding party from the first floor parrot room.

Then after the drinks reception I decided to shoot all the group pics using the front of the farmhouse as the backdrop.  The sky was starting to go greyer so I kept the couple out and shot as much as possible – it then literally hammered down with rain for the next 40 mins.  I made the right choice there. Everyone continued drinks in the old dairy.  We did a few fun shots with Jack doing some pull ups, “well he does train 5 times a week in the gym”.

It was now time to sit down for the meal which was absolutely outstanding. The bride and groom had paid for me to enjoy the full meal,  you just didn’t want it to finish.  The speeches then started.  Paul the father of the bride then Jack then the best man.  3 amazing speeches but for me Jacks speech was perfect so articulate and beautiful. It was one of the best grooms speeches i’ve ever heard.

After the speeches the photo-booth arrived outside and had the best props i’ve ever seen! “See the pic by the Photo-booth which is actually a caravan (so right for the venue)”.

The day was run by Helen at South Farm an absolutely lovely lady.  The team at South Farm are acquiescent in every way.

It was now time for the first dance, Donna and Jack stood on the dance floor, everyone surrounded them and you just couldn’t stop looking at them “they looked so happy – it stood out by a mile”.

“Donna and Jack, Thank you I truly mean that. I was treated as a guest, you did everything with me that I wanted. You did it in the sun, light rain and even late when it was cold. You did all this whilst looking absolutely gorgeous together.  I am so happy that I got to spend that day with you”.
