Fanhams Hall Wedding Photographer. Harrison and Reece were married at Fanhams Hall 10 years to the day they met. On a perfect English autumn day – sunshine with a slight breeze. Thankfully the sun was shining all day and we didn’t have to worry about any rain. Harrison and Reece both decided to get ready at Fanhams Hall.
I grabbed a few shots of Harrison getting ready and then headed over to Reece. After plenty of pictures getting ready with their different friend groups they met up in a room next to the Long Gallery. Had a glass of champagne and had some photos together. The “Grooms People” then all made their way into the Long Gallery in pairs which was great fun. Harrison and Reece came in together to a huge applause and cheers from all the guests.
The Ceremony was performed by Richard Edwards and Jackie Earle two of Hertfordshires best registrars. Rings were exchanged and vows were made and then it was out into the bar for drinks, canapés and congratulations! The weather was so lovely so I made my way up to the second floor window and then gathered the whole wedding party together for one big picture. Then I did a quick confetti tunnel before firing through the group shots.
The skies were clear, the sun was blazing so I took the main portrait shots in the formal gardens. I mainly used the fountain, gates and archways. Will the operations manager at Fanhams Hall had the golf buggy on charge so I knew later I would take them into the Japanese gardens for the golden hour shoot.
Soon guests were seated and Harrison and Reece were announced in as the newest Mr & Mr Callaghan-Hinson. Speeches followed the meal and had everyone laughing and crying in equal measure.
After dinner the sun started to set over the trees so we jumped on the golf buggy and I quickly took Harrison and Reece to the main gardens for some shots in my favourite light. The room was changed around for the evening and before long the cake was cut, the first dance was danced and the Ceilidh started. Naturally I got loads of great party shots.
