Best Men – Dean, Fordy and Scotty.

How We Met.
I first met Hayley and Richard when they were at their very close friends wedding (Kellie and Dean Coventry) “great day and great couple”. Richard was Deans best man. We had such a fun day and I got to know the couple really well.
The Wedding Day
The day started with me arriving at Richards house at 10am. He was getting ready with his 3 best men. The banter was flowing and they were having a laugh pinging each others braces and messing about. Harrison was in there too and was laughing and very happy just like one of the boys. I made use of the window light and got some pictures of Richard putting his suit on. I finished the pictures with a few shots of the boys outside in the street using the main road getting them to walk down the centre of it; It looked like something out the film reservoir dogs.
I then arrived at Gaynes Park, Hayley was getting ready in the cottage with her mum, sister and sister in law to be. The cottage had recently been done up and was looking so lovely. Hayley looked stunning as she was getting her hair and make up finished. She was really chilled and it was a lovely relaxed morning. The bubbly was flowing – the music was great. Jodie the brides sister /maid of honour hung all the dresses up and I got some lovely detail shots.
Together with Anthony (video) and Richard (registrar) we headed down to The Merry Fiddlers to meet the boys quickly. Everyone came out and joined the groom for a picture. I then headed over to Gaynes Park to continue the pictures. The guests were now starting to arrive and it was getting very busy.
Hayley was about to get into her dress. She looked stunning as she was being laced up by her sister. The hair and make up looked amazing, this is always an important thing for a photographer. The bride was now ready and her dad Chris saw her for the first time, what a great moment he was a very proud dad.
The ceremony took place in the Orangery and was performed by family friend Richard Edwards effortlessly. One great moment for me was when Chris and the bride finished their long entrance in, Chris shook Richards hand; a beautiful moment to see. Richard and Hayley then went outside and everyone threw the confetti. After some time with everyone I took them round parts of the grounds and shot some natural reportage photos. I then shot the group pictures and everyone took their seats for the meal. The speeches then took place and finished with the 3 best men laying into Richard as you would expect them too.
The couple had arranged for cocktails and a singer (Charlotte) to sing for their guests in The Orangery whilst the Barn was prepared for the evenings entertainment. This was pure class and people were dancing and drinking and having a great time.
The Barn was now ready and after the official cake cutting, the bride and groom had their first dance together. This was beautiful with all the family and friends surrounding the dance floor.
I finished the photos with a few shots of the bride and groom outside as the sun went in.

Hayley and Richard, all I can say is wow! your wedding from start to finish was amazing, the detail and the taste was just unreal. Have a lovely honeymoon and I look forward to seeing you soon for the viewing. JP
