Jenna and Clives Wedding at Fanhams Hall Ware. I arrived at Fanhams Hall at 11.30 am to see Jenna and get some shots of her getting ready. Jenna was having her hair done in the bridal suite. The timing was perfect with the bridesmaids just about to get dressed. Jenna was soon to step into her dress and she looked lovely. Jenna and Clives son Connor was to hand in his little blue pants and was soon joined by his cousins Ronnie, Sam & Jay. The girls were all to hand to help her relax whilst getting ready. I looked out of the window, the rain had stopped I was so pleased as it was forecast rain pretty much all day.
Jenna and Clive are fun and chilled people who you will have a great time hanging out with. They have a huge amount of friends and have great family. I was really excited to be their photographer and to spend the day with them on the most important day of their lives. Jenna was given away by her brother James. He walked her down the aisle in a beautiful Civil Ceremony which took place in the Hertford and Ware Room at Fanhams Hall. It was a really great wedding and to capture a really awesome day full of joy and excitement was priceless.
The mens suits added a touch of formality to the wedding photography. The short front of the jacket and length of the tails created layers that does not exist in other choices of suits. They walked very well (personal joke) and we had a lot of fun together. After the ceremony Jenna and Clive took a few minutes to relax and enjoy some time out whilst walking round the gardens. This was perfect for me as I got some lovely natural pictures and the rain had stopped. We knew we needed to get the pictures taken quickly and we got right down into the heart of the gardens going to all the best spots and staying dry. At one point the sun actually popped out and clive kissed Jenna’s hand. On the way back we could see the guests gathered in the bar area. Jenna and Clive went in to warm up and the guests all welcomed them. This was a brilliant opportunity for great social and personal wedding photos of guests as celebrations began. Everyone then joined them outside for a big group shot and I then shot the family and friends photos.
The Pavillion was all set and looked really lovely I walked round and got some pictures concentrating on the detail as I knew that Jenna had made a lot of it by hand. Everyone then came in and the speeches started. Three Brilliant and personal speeches that all had the laughter and seriousness to them. The meal was then served and everyone relaxed. After the meal the room was turned around for dancing and lovelight set up ready for the party. Jenna and Clive cut their wedding cake and then had their first dance with everyone then joining in. The rain had now started so I took the bride and groom out to the staircase and shot a beautiful picture from the top looking down (last pic below).
Jenna and Clive, what a fantastic wedding you had, it stayed dry when we needed it to. It was a privilege to be a part of your wedding day. Have a lovely honeymoon and I will see you very soon for the viewing. JP.
