Venue – Boreham House.
The day started with the some shots of Shef his best man and two little boys getting ready. I then made my way over to Boreham House to start the pictures with Jo and all her bridesmaids.
Anthony from Spotlight weddings had just arrived too. As the weather was forecast rain all day I brought some lights with me, quickly set them up ready for later. Then went up to see Joanne.
She was surrounded by her girls, the vibe was chilled, she was laughing having her hair and make up done. The dress was hanging up in the Master Bedroom and looked beautiful.. but I wouldn’t have expected anything less from these two.
Anthony and I then headed outside and could hear a helicopter in the distance.. Shef was being flown into the venue by chopper with his two sons and best man. An absolutely perfect entrance as it landed on the main lawn at the back of the mansion.
Joannes make up was now done so after a beautiful moment opening presents she stood by her dress and looked absolutely beautiful. Once she was covered I got some photos of her being laced in and then headed down to the Gold Room for the wedding ceremony.
After the ceremony the couple had champagne with their guests in the entrance hall. I then took them outside under the umbrella as the helicopter lifted off and hovered for the ultimate photo and video. The photos were all taken at the front of the main house. The speeches took place in the marquee and as the evening guests arrived they were treated to a beautiful firework display.
The first dance then started and the drunken dancing began. It was a brilliant party and I wrapped everything up just after 10pm.
What a brilliant wedding, Id like to thank all the staff at Boreham house for looking after me on the day.
When you shoot weddings things have to be right first time. Shooting the wedding pictures in the conditions and time we had was challenging to any professional. I was really pleased that myself and Anthony from Spotlight were working together on the day.. “theres no I in TEAM” and together we got amazing pictures and footage that you deserve as our clients.
