What can i say about Kara and Simons wedding other than it really was a great Wedding. The day started with me arriving at Tewingbury Farm and meeting Anthony from Spotlight Weddings (our recommended video company). We caught up as we have both been away on family holidays and then headed over to see Kara and the girls getting ready.
There was 7 Bridesmaids, 1 maid of honour, mother of the bride and the hairdresser in the room… it was busy. The girls were having a glass of champagne and were all really fun and happy. I mentioned to them about a few shots I wanted to get before heading over to Simons room and before I knew it they had it all organised for me… these girls were brilliant.
I headed over to the boy’s room Simon was getting his suit on with his two best men and groomsmen… he was very chilled and headed to the bar to have a drink with the boys and meet some of his family… I headed over to see Kara and she was getting into her dress. Kara looked stunning – the dress was perfect and then her dad Glen walked in and was really taken back, he kissed his daughter and the bridesmaids were all in tears… what a beautiful moment.
I headed over to The Tythe Barn and saw the registrars Jackie and Richard two of the best I have worked with. Simon came in and the guests then took their places in the Ceremony. Kara then walked in with her dad and the atmosphere in the Barn was amazing. Simon saw her and then her dad lifted the veil and Simon didn’t hesitate in giving her a quick kiss. The ceremony was very nice .. there were two readings both fantastic. Afterwards the couple signed the register, walked down the aisle and had a quiet drink on their own before coming out to the see their guests – I had organised a confetti shot and the guests threw as they walked out from the bridge.
I took the pictures of all the family then took the couple of round to the bridge and barn for some pictures on their own. We then headed into the The Barn and the couple made a massive entrance to all the guests cheering and clapping.
The speeches took place at the end of the Starter and were great and very informative.. particularly the best mans (grooms brother – very articulate and well written)
The band then set up and the couple cut their wedding cake before starting the dancing off and then the dance floor became crowded as everyone descended onto the dance floor it was then that the band really hit it and the party was Buzzing.
I took the couple out to the bridge and did an off camera flash shot as a final image and then said my goodbyes.
Here is a selection of pictures that I have selected from the day. JP
