Hertfordshire Last Minute Valentines Day Wedding
It was Friday 13th February, I was driving home from a photo shoot in Hadley Wood. Theobald’s Park staff rang me in a complete emergency. It was regarding the wedding that was taking place tomorrow. On what is the most romantic day of the year – Valentines Day.
“The photographer for tomorrows wedding has cancelled and the couple are devastated. We have a Bride is in tears”. “Can you please help them?”
The couple came to my studio and I said don’t worry, I will do your wedding photography tomorrow. So I charged my cameras and got everything ready for their wedding.
I turned up at Theobald’s Park the next morning and saw James (groom) in the bar with his dad and family. Everyone was very relaxed and waiting for the Football to Start, they are big West Ham fans. I did a few photos and then went to see the bride( Karen ). Karen was having her hair and make up done. I took the wedding dress and hung it in the window of The Mansion House and did some pictures. After about 45 minutes I left to go down for the Ceremony.
The day was amazing and really was a Last Minute Hertfordshire Valentines Day Wedding Emergency but it all turned out really well.
Here is a selection of pictures I took at the wedding. Sometimes we have to do things to help people. I had three wedding bookings scheduled in to see me. I want to thank those three couples who all changed the appointments and took time out on their Sundays to come over to see me.

As a warning to all couples planning a wedding. Always plan for the unexpected. In the 24 years I have been a professional photographer I have never let one of my clients down. If you pay cheap and book cheap you don’t always get the best so ALWAYS book a professional and don’t trust an amateur.
