Maxine and Lukes Wedding at Fanhams Hall. The day started with me heading over to Sawbridgeworth to Maxine’s parent’s house. When I got there Maxine was on her way back to the house from the hairdressers with the bridesmaids. So I had a cup of coffee with her brother and dad then they arrived. The girls all went up to the main bedroom and I did some pictures of them getting ready. I got some pictures with them getting into their dresses and then did some pictures of everyone before shooting off to get to Fanhams Hall for the Wedding Ceremony.
When I got to Fanhams Hall Luke was in the Pavillion with his family. He then made his way to the ceremony. The bridesmaids then arrived in a convertible Mercedes and the bride then arrived with her dad in white and black convertible vintage car. We were running late so the registrars took Maxine off straight away so I headed off to the Long Gallery to get set up for the ceremony.
The Ceremony was lovely and went really well. Afterwards, Luke and Maxine came down the aisle and headed outside to get into the car for a drive. Once they got back everyone threw the confetti and the couple walked through whilst everyone cheered. I then took a picture from the roof of all the guests together with the couple and then shot the family, friends groups. I then took the bride and groom around the grounds of Fanhams Hall. I used the formal gardens, gated areas and then the Japanese gardens.
We then headed to the pavilion to get in for the meal and speeches. The three speeches were brilliant… Luke’s was up there with the best grooms speeches that I’ve heard .. it was very articulate..just what you would expect from a University graduate. After the speeches we headed out to the gardens whilst the room was turned around for the evenings dancing. The uni lot were all outside and were using the outside games which made some great shots. Luke and the boys all jumped up on the wall and I shot a fight scene for fun… it made a brilliant picture.
The bride and groom then went in and cut their wedding cake before starting the dancing off with their first dance. The guests all then joined in and I got some great dance shots. I then took Luke and Maxine out for a sunset shot and it made a great finishing image to a great day.
