I first met Aleks and Shanelle when I was introduced to them by their Master Of Ceremonies Jonathan Ian waterman. We hit it off straight away and at that meeting they booked me straight away. The day itself took place at the beautiful Manor Of Groves in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. I have shot lots of weddings there and at their sister hotel Shendish Manor.

Aleks was getting ready in his room with his dad John Marcetic and two best men Steve and Miles. What great guys and what a chilled vibe too. After a few single Malt whiskeys the boys started getting into their suits. I finished the pics with a really cool black and white window shot. It was now time to go over to see Shanelle who was having her hair and make up done.

The ladies were very relaxed and I got to meet Natalie and Christopher Shanelle’s parents. Once Shanelle was in her dress Christopher came in and saw her in the dress for the first time. This was one of the most emotional dress reveals i’ve photographed and one that i will never forget.

The Wedding Ceremony took place outside in the grounds of the Manor Suite. The sun was shining, it was very hot and a perfect, tranquil setting. Afterwards I took the photos with everyone using the lake and then later in the evening we headed out on the golf buggy. We got right into the high grass which gave me the chance to get some great evening photos.
