Wedding Photography at Sheene Mill
Chloe & Eren had their gorgeous Spring Sheene Mill wedding photography on the 9th September 2021. Not only was this one of the most beautiful weddings I’ve photographed here, we also got the chance to get some great shots around the venue too.
The photos started with Eren and his best man and groomsmen at home for the getting ready shots. When I pulled in and was trying to find the address, I saw Eren standing on his balcony waiting for everyone to arrive. He cracked open a beautiful bottle of Bollinger and had a glass with his brother Zak, best man Aaron and close mate Skipper (Tony). Mike his cousin couldn’t make it to the flat for the getting ready shots, but this didn’t stop the banter and fun “what a great bunch of lads”.
I arrived at Sheene Mill to see the bridal party suite where the girls were in full flow getting ready, popping corks and having a lovely morning! Natalie Michel headed up the Make-up and Court Hair for the girls. It’s always lovely to work with Natalie as she’s brilliant. There was a good vibe through the whole morning with the ladies. 🙂 Eren arrived a little later in a White Lamborghini fully suited and ready to get the party started!
The Ceremony was taking place outside so the guests were seated. Poised and anticipating the arrival of the bride, Eren was a little nervous as expected (I managed to capture a little moment of this which you can see below). The bridesmaids then made their way down the aisle and then Chloe and her proud dad Pete. With the ceremony completed, with the “I Do’s” safely expressed and sealed with a long kiss it was time for the celebrations.
After a lovely drinks reception with all the congratulations I started the family and friends pictures. I knew quite a few people here so I had a brief catch up with some of the guests whilst taking the shots. Recognising some faces at weddings is always lovely and certainly is a great ice breaker when it comes to capturing more natural photos. I then took some lovely shots of Chloe in her amazing dress and even then Eren joined in. I mainly used the river and gazebo for the photos as the sun was slightly behind the couple which gave me a beautiful back light.
Before we knew it, everyone was invited to take their seats for the meal. The speeches were at various stages of the meal and were fantastic. I found myself laughing along with the speeches given the originality and content throughout. It’s one of the most exclusive parts of the day getting to hear some really intimate stories and moments. Well they certainly went down well with tons of belly laughter! and that was just the best mans speech with his fantastic photos.
The meal finished and Lovelight arrived to set up the evenings entertainment. I took Eren and Chloe out onto the Gazebo and they had a practice of their first dance. Lovelight got all the guests in and then the bride and groom made their entrance to huge cheers. They cut the wedding cake and got ready for their first dance. The first dance was beautiful, then Chloe danced with her dad which was a magical moment. It was now party time, I won’t forget that dance floor in a hurry for sure. It was great to see so much happiness and people having a great time, surely thats what it’s all about ?!
