Crondon Park wedding photographer John Paul ODonnell photographs Steph and Chris’s wedding at Crondon park, Stock, Essex. I had the absolute pleasure to photograph their wedding on Saturday 15th November.

I see so many cheap photographers advertising “ I will film and photograph your wedding for £1k— don’t take the risk by going for one of these cheap people. Your wedding day is a once-in-a-lifetime moment and choosing the wrong photographer is a mistake you can’t undo.

Back in November I photographed Steph and Chris’s wedding. A beautiful couple, who went out in the cold and dark for these shots and did so well. I would say the conditions were some of the most challenging of my career. It was pitch black, wet and incredibly difficult to work in. A late-afternoon ceremony slipped into darkness, with rain constantly changing the conditions. It took every bit of my experience, technical skill and calm under pressure to create the images you’re seeing below.

This is exactly why investing in a true professional matters. When the light disappears, the weather turns and everything becomes unpredictable, you need someone who can still deliver stunning, high-quality results. Many photographers would have struggled to produce anything close to the level of quality needed in those pitch-black, wet conditions.

Experience, training and the ability to perform under pressure make all the difference. Don’t gamble with your memories. Don’t choose cheap. Your day deserves nothing less.
