Danielle and Emilys wedding at Hanbury Manor. This same sex HANBURY MANOR Wedding took place in June 2022. Ceremony took place in POLES HALL

I was really excited about photographing Danielle and Emilys same sex wedding at Hanbury Manor. They were getting married at one of my favourite venues,  Hanbury Manor in Ware, Hertfordshire. 

SAME SEX HANBURY MANOR WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Danielle and Emily tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Poles Hall at Hanbury Manor. The beautiful brides were full of smiles and laughter as they exchanged their vows and rings and became Mrs and Mrs. After the ceremony the guests gathered and Danielle and Emily came out and were showered with confetti, and congratulated by their loved ones. I then took a quick photo from the first floor window of the whole wedding party before the brides joined their guests for their champagne reception. 

After the drinks reception we headed to the front of the mansion where the wedding cars were. The bridal party followed and we took some great shots at the front of the house. After some group pictures Danielle and Emily sat down for the meal with all their guests in the Thunderidge Room. Once the meal was finished the speeches took place, 5 fantastic speeches  all announced by Coral and Blue who gave everyone a great build up and made the whole room cheer as each of the speakers got up. 

Katie from Hanbury Manor then pulled the golf buggy round and we headed out into the heart of the golf course for the evening shoot (Golden Hour). I mainly used the first tee, moon-gate and the lake by the 18th green. At the beginning of the the day I gave a little photo tip to the girls. “When you hear the camera shutter always make a slight adjustment and you will absolutely nail it for the photos”. Well these two did more than that, they took it to a different level with little smiles and laughter throughout. Danielle’s veil blew off at one point and Emily grabbed it just as I hit the shutter, what a great moment to get on camera.

After the shoot the room was full with all the evening guests and it was time for the cake cutting and first dance. The party began and the dance floor was packed, great for me getting those all important party shots.

Danielle and Emily, What a great day; it was lovely meeting your family and friends. You put every effort in when we did the pictures and absolutely smashed it! It was lovely having a drink with you when I finished and put the cameras away. Looking forward to seeing you soon for the viewing. JP xx
