Fanhams Hall photographer | Autumn Outside wedding Sarah & Ian. On 16th September 2021 Sarah and Ian got married at the beautiful Fanhams Hall. The wedding ceremony took place outside on the croquet lawn. Either side of the aisle was the bride and grooms motorbikes which just looked amazing.

Both Sarah and Ian got ready in the hotel and had their dog Roxy there too to enjoy it. The day went brilliantly from start to finish. The team at Fanhams Hall are brilliant at what they do and the gardens looked the best id seen them with the autumn flowers and lawns carefully manicured. I have got to know Sarah really well over the past year and I knew that we would be doing things a little bit differently. Like planting a rose in the pitch black using Anthony (video) light as the main source which was just brilliant. There was emotion, lots of laughter and a lot of love. Sarah has a very natural laugh and when she started its very infectious.

The photos were mainly taken in the formal and the Japanese gardens using the bridges and backdrop of the mansion house. The guests were having drinks on the terrace so we shot down and got all pictures we needed before coming up and taking a shot of the whole wedding party. We did this in the shape of a heart which took some doing but was well worth it.

Everyone then took their seats in the great Hall (Fanhams main room) and the toastmaster bought them in to huge applause. After a meal which was outstanding the speeches started. The father of the bride Robert was superb and afterwards I found out he’s done a fair bit of public speaking, this certainly showed; it was brilliantly timed and written.

After a crazy night shoot with Wasp and the rest of the bridesmaids the couple had their first dance together. The dance floor was quickly filled up with the guests and some of the best dancing i’ve seen all year. After some great drunken dancing with the blow up guitars the couple did a sparkler shot.

Then for the final shot I set up a overhead shot, using 3 lights the bride and groom walked in and Ina just just held her and together a beautiful moment was captured. I always like to finish with that one breathtaking shot I do it at every wedding, its what you deserve when you book me and its what ive spent half my life perfecting.

The Secret Reveal

I am starting the images with this one. This was a beautiful moment that I set up and with the help of the toastmaster Jim we pulled it off perfectly. We carefully bough Ian one side of the door and Sarah the other, there was no sound; just a moment captured where they held hands. This moment said it all they both knew that they were both ready for the day to start.
