My name is John Paul and I am a professional wedding photographer in Herts. I wanted to blog about my experiences as a recommended Fanhams Hall Wedding Photographer and give my honest review of the wedding venue and setup.
I have worked at Fanhams Hall on many occasions now photographing over 200 times. It is an amazing venue to hold your wedding. From the moment you pull in from the main road and drive through the gatehouse you see the Japanese part of the Hotel. You drive through a beautiful arch into the courtyard and you see the main entrance. It really does have that wow factor and degree of stature about it.
Now lets get back to the weddings. I am very fortunate that I am a recommended photographer at this venue and have been for over ten years now. The Jacobean Mansion House is the best backdrop to shoot against and create some amazing shots. As you go into the house there are many areas to use including the staircase, Great Hall, Long Gallery, Drawing Room, Library and many more areas. As you go out onto the terrace you have the house and formal gardens as your backdrop. There is also the pavillion which is another area used for weddings within the grounds and is positioned next to a lovely japanese lake.
The staff at Fanhams Hall are at the very top of their trade and always go that little bit extra for their customers. The chefs are second to none and the food is to die for.
