LEEZ PRIORY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

Well Lucy and Ryan were my first wedding this year and what a wedding it was. They both got ready at the venue which enabled me to go between both of them at various stages of the morning. Ryan and the boys were getting ready in the cottage and Lucy in the main house.

When you arrive at Leez Priory you are taken back with the beauty of the place. The 16th Century Grade 1 mansion doesn’t disappoint for areas to shoot the pictures in. As there was a bitter chill in the wind I kept the photos to the main sheltered areas at the front and rear of the mansion. Lucy and Ryan were very easy to photograph, they have a lovely natural energy together.

After the Civil Ceremony we got the guests out into two lines and the newly weds came out to a huge applause then walked through as everyone threw the confetti. Then a nice drinks reception in the warm by the log fire and out for photos.

I mainly used the front of the house with the beautiful doors and the tower for the bridal portraits. Emma (maid of honour) and Tina were fantastic helping me arrange the dress (and what a dress it was!).
