As a Shortmead House Wedding Photographer, I had the privilege of documenting Leigha and Pat’s wedding. The ceremony took place beside the swimming pool at Shortmead House. Pat got ready at a local hotel with her bridesmaids.  Leigha got ready at the venue with her bridesmaids, making it convenient for me to capture every detail. The weather was perfect, with a lightly overcast sky, allowing for stunning photos.

I have got to know the family very well over the last year or so. Leigha’s parents Lynn and Stuart renewed their wedding vowels last year in a beautiful ceremony at Hanbury Manor.  So when it comes to photographing for them I know what they like and I consider it an honour and a privilege. 

Next wedding in the family is Ryan and Lucy and thats going to be a big one too… very much looking forward to that.

Shortmead house is a beautiful 16th Century Country House set in 16 acres.  It really is worth looking at if you want a privately owned country house wedding. The nice thing when booking here is you can bring your own cater in. Coral and Blue Events did a fantastic job of this with a meal fit for a Royal wedding and every fine detail was perfect, right down to chilling the polish vodka to -16 degrees fahrenheit and of course the Doner Kebabs at 11pm..
