Tewin Bury Farm Wedding Venue Review?
I wanted to blog about my experiences as someone whose photographed many weddings at Tewin Bury Farm Hotel. This review will show you the best areas for photos amongst other things.
At Tewinbury Farm there are five main places that you can get married and some of the barns cater for outdoor ceremonies too.
Ceremonies.
1.The Tythe Barn
2.The Stable
3.The Millstream
4. The Meadow Barn.
5. The Farmhouse
When you pull into Tewin bury Farm you drive over a small stream and up to the Farmhouse. As you look left you pass the smallest of the two main barns “The Stable” which sits beautifully on the left side and stands out with its beautiful red brick and old wooden doors. If you are a photographer you will really enjoy shooting against this. You then go round into the biggest barn which is the The Tythe Barn and is magnificent. Both barns have their own grounds as does the Millstream.
There is a beautiful small stream that passes through the main gardens so you are always next to water. The Millstream is smaller than the other two and sits up high so you get a fantastic view of the Farm whilst having your meal. There is a fantastic restaurant and its very popular as the food is lovely.
Below I’ve listed 8 areas which in my opinion as a pro photographer are the parts that always make for a good shot. Out of the all the parts the Gates, Doorways and Red Brick Barns are the best to shoot against.
Heres some pictures from recent weddings showing the best places some of which are mentioned below.
- The Stable
- The Tythe Barn
- Millstream
- The Meadow Barn
- Gates and Doorways
- The Farmers Bedroom
- Bridge
- Red Brick Barns
