Lucy and Luke are childhood sweethearts! They tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in the Grand Barn at Essendon Country Club. The Grand Barn sits somewhere in the centre of the 400 acre estate. This provides lots of opportunities for beautiful wedding photos. Hosting two championship courses it really is a fantastic place to shoot a wedding. The Ceremony took place at 2.30 pm so I knew that I needed to get the photos taken quickly as it was a cold, wet day and the light was dropping very quickly.
Lucy is a triplett and when she did her reveal to her two brothers Paul and Joe, it was beautiful moment and one I wont forget. The Weddings at Essendon Country Club are run by the amazing Jo and Fiona. They are at the very top of the wedding industry and have a pretty full diary for 2025. With their help I shot all the group photos mainly using the conservatory and main staircase (as it was raining) and we couldn’t get outside at this stage.
Once the rain stopped I took the bride and groom outside for some pics together. I used the back terrace as it was lit nicely. The light was dropping fairly quickly but it was still ok for good photos.
Lucy and Luke, it was an absolute honour for me to shoot your wedding. I loved every minute of it. JP
