Title – what is the average wedding photography package?

Most pro photographers photography packages are either Digital or Digital and Storybook.

Now the average Digital package is roughly £1300+ this usually includes a 9 hour coverage and a Disc or USB with all the edited images on.  Anyone who says they give you them unedited stay well clear.  Every hour a photographer is shooting is 2 hours post production.  A 9 hour wedding coverage is an additional 18 hours editing. This time is spent working on the images to give them the professional edge.

Example of Edited Image.

A Storybook Package is slightly more roughly £1600+ this again usually would include 9 hours shooting plus about 24 hours post production and design. If you have it in your budget I would recommend this type of package. The reason I say this is as a pro photographer I like to do my own unique designs for my clients.  There are never two the same as when shooting a wedding I design in my head.  For example when the speeches are taking place I shoot them all landscape. This will make the design work better when I sit down and start planning the lay out. It comes together and flows better.

Here are some examples.
